Coming soon to Warrington: Clue HQ

"Clue HQ" logoThe process of finding new exit games before they open involves a lot of searching for carefully selected search terms, plus town names. Clearly it’s worth searching for the biggest cities and towns in the UK first; Liverpool is a big market which doesn’t have a site yet. Siting a game in Warrington might be even smarter still, as it’s within twenty miles of both Liverpool and Manchester.

Clue HQ have announced their location in Warrington. It’s extremely close to both Warrington Central train station and Warrington’s bus station. They have also posted a design video suggesting that they, like Escape Live (still under construction in Birmingham), have posted an address suggesting a venue underneath railway arches. Clue HQ have posted a design video showing their plans; ((Edited to add: it’s now been removed!)) while the arrangement of rooms inside the site looks intricate and suggests a great deal to explore, the video may well be indicative rather than to be taken literally as a spoiler.

Not much else is known; no opening date and no prices yet, though they have set up the site’s Facebook page and the site’s Twitter account, and the web site is very smart. The site is set up for teams of three to six and recommends a team of four.

Another very promising-looking site. Fingers crossed that there is more to say about Clue HQ before long; expect to read it here when the news becomes available.
