This site is always on the look-out for new games or venues that are opening, references in the media or anything else that might be of interest to the readers, so please do send an email if you spot anything of interest. On to the news
- Yorkshire and the Humber
- It’s been open for a few weeks now but I keep on forgetting to add it in: Stuck in the Riddle opened in Huddersfield in mid-August with their first game entitled The Dungeon.
- South East England
- Quick reminder that, if you know anyone in Winchester, ClueCapers are running a Restoration-inspired mini escape room later this week.
- Live Escape in Salisbury are running a promotion for people booking their game on a Friday. Scroll down on this page for more details.
- East of England
- First mention of an escape room in Bury St Edmunds. Escape Rooms Suffolk have just a single game listed on their site for now – Death Row.
- East Midlands
- UK Escape Games in Melton Mowbray and Mansfield are running a significant discount off their games in September – head to the website for details.
- Alien is opening at iLocked in Nottingham
- South West England
- Gloucester-based company Trapped Escape Rooms opened up their third game, The Hangover, last month
- Clue HQ Swindon have also opened up a third game – Detonation.
- London
- City Mazes Islington launches this week with Bamboozled and The Lost Cabin their opening games.
- World War II – Scoop of the Century is opening at Operation Escape
