- National and International
- Samrien Hussain, Director at Tick Tock Unlock, continues to pick up accolades. This time she’s been selected as one of seven business founders to head to Boston as part of an entrepreneurial mission.
- ICYMI, two Canadian prison escapees were recaptured the day after they escaped while playing an escape room…
- The Telegraph ran a story about escape rooms in a box, focused on Exit: The Game’s offering.
- North East England
- Enigma Mobile are running their game in Gateshead prison on the final weekend of October.
- Scotland
- In just over a week, Inverclyde will be hosting its first escape room – a two day popup in Greenock.
- Yorkshire and the Humber
- Looks like the international franchise The Escape Room will be opening a site in Sheffield if planning permission is granted.
- London
- Podcast interview with Brendan from Escape Plan talking about how he ended up in the business and some of the challenges.
- The Evening Standard visited the Dynamo Diamonds popup in London. In other news – they’ve now extended their lease through to the new year.
- South East England
- Exciting Escapes were interviewed by the local BBC news.

- A new company is coming to Worthing – Time Lock haven’t set an opening date yet but The Disappearance and The Facility are listed as their first two games.
- Ireland
- A new company, Escape HQ, has opened up in Ireland. Their first two games, Infiltrate and Vacancy, are based on the Breakout games that North West and Wales players might be aware of.

Hi Ken. The Bomb (TRAP) opened at Cambridge Escape Rooms this week. If you already mentioned this in a previous update, I apologise. Sorry for not keeping you updated, it’s been hectic! Cheers.
My fault entirely. I knew about the Bomb’s opening and should have spotted that it wasn’t present in my list. In fact, I missed out all the new games from the last two weeks. I’ll include them in the next update.
Any news on the Breakout rooms opening in Watford?
Not heard anything recently. I chased in late July and they were hoping for September. Facebook and the website don’t seem to have changed at all.
