- Lucardo made the local news with their wizardry-themed game, University of Magic, which launched this week.
- Lancaster Escape got a mention in their local rag
- Fascinating mention here of a long running scholarly escape room experience run by Manchester Metropolitan University targeted at senior school pupils. It’s not clear whether it’s just aimed at school children or if families can head along .
- North East England
- The Room is a new location just north of the city in Forest Hall which opened recently.
- Exit Newcastle have announced a second venue in the city where they’ll be opening a Christmas room.
- East of England
- Escape Peterborough‘s partnership with the local museum got some attention in the local paper.
- South West England
- Live Escape Salisbury are giving a proportion of their takings to a local charity and the local newspaper picked up on it (Also – great news that they’ve had planning permission extended so that they can open seven days a week!)
- Escape Rooms Cheltenham are a new company linked to the equivalently named Crewe venue. Plans are for them to start operating escape rooms in the new year but with a twist. They’ll be running a different game every month and it will only open for a weekend. It will certainly be interesting to see how that pans out.
