On to the news
- Wales
- Escape Blackwood in South Wales opened their third game, Murder Motel
- London
- After a stint at the Vaults, Mostly Harmless have opened Phobos 17 at the Artworks in Elephant & Castle.
- Imperial War Museums close Damage Control this week – book quickly if you want to play!
- Lollipop open The Grid, a cocktail and AI themed escape room…
- Scotland
- A local(ish) prop company wrote a blog post about Locked in Edinburgh.
- North East England
- Escape Newcastle (The Gate) is a new venue for the Escape company which seems to be running two games promoting the Predator film. Unsurprisingly, the local paper ran a story about it. The venue is due to open in the next couple of weeks.
- Yorkshire and the Humber
- Cryptology Rooms Sheffield opened last week with their first game called First Contact
- Eskape Whitby have opened their second game, A Curious Case
- South East England
- The Panic Room Gravesend closes The Gilman Hotel this week.
- Xscream Escapes down in Staines opened their doors this week with two games, Bedlam: Escape the Asylum and The Corpsewood Killer.
- Escape Reading closed The Library
- East of England
- Axes and Escapes in Norfolk opened their third game, Spy vs Spy which is, as the name suggests, a versus game.
- Room Escape Southend open A Haunting on West Street this week
- Escape Live Essex, also based in Southend, opened Pirate Plunder
- Hour Escape in Peterborough opened their Stranger Things room.
- South West England
- Escape4fun opened Action Escape Room
- It seemed almost inevitable but Center Parcs have added escape rooms to their lineup. First location is Longleat where they’ve deployed two games from Locked in a Room, Parallax and Timelock
- North West England
- It’s been open a while but I’ve only just been told about it: Caged is an escape venue that’s opened in a rock bar in Burnley and has three games: Presence, Escape to the Jungle and Asylum.
